Primark | Creating a culture of learning

As a global retail leader, Primark are continually developing and improving on their talent, learning and leadership offering. RP Global have supported Primark across these key channels to further enhance delivery of the Primark strategy.

The project’s work with their Buying and Merchandising team has been a critical part of the successful delivery of the strategy. The Buying and Merchandising team were in the process of moving from a globally diverse team to a centralised function in Dublin.

We created an Emotional Journey to provide insight in our build of a talent solution for user, and organisation.

Objectives:

  • Increase consistency.

  • Build a diverse talent pipeline.

  • Increase retention, engagement and competency.

  • Deliver agile training.

  • Create tangible career paths with the ability to fast track.

“This approach gives fantastic consistency with great content in our Primark language. We have visibility of the process but now we can tailor it in an agile way to suit the colleague and the business. Each person now has autonomy to drive their own development.”
